HOUSE

Monte Esmeralda is a century-old traditional house in the region, with an architectural style in Taipa, restored with passion and rigor.

The house has three bedrooms (one outside connected to the house by a porch), all with bathrooms and private terraces, allowing for reserved moments whenever desired.

The kitchen, with a dining area, is integrated into the living room with a fireplace that allows you to heat the entire house during the winter.

There is a second fireplace on the large outdoor porch so that it remains pleasant on cool summer nights or colder winter days because that’s where the eyes delve into the size of the field, the stars multiply, and the smells of nature invade us.

The pool, which is raised to make access difficult for the little ones, facilitates sunbathing on its wide edges and conversations between those inside and outside.

Cooking will be a pleasure! Both in the modernly equipped kitchen and in the old wood oven. The latter will elevate a simple pizza meal with friends or family to an unforgettable experience…

Monte Esmeralda, which belonged to Rui's grandparents and may one day belong to his grandchildren, deserved all the love and care to strengthen the local culture, respect the environment and perpetuate local resources.

That is why the commitment to traditional techniques, such as Taipa or stonework, the use of renewable and local materials, such as cork in insulation or firewood for heating, and the reuse of all water for toilets and irrigation of indigenous plants. We haven't forgotten an EV charging socket in the covered parking lot.
